1. Professional Competence

I shall take assignments only when I am qualified and competent to fulfil them.

I look for solutions, which are consistent with the state of science of the branch, and in line with the client’s interests in the best possible way.


2. Responsibility and Effectiveness

I shall recommend my services only, if I expect that the benefit for my potential client will be higher then my remuneration..

I shall prepare realistic performance-, time- and cost calculations and try to meet them.

I am not only writing consulting reports or prepare recommendations, but help to implement my proposals if requested and co-operate with my clients as long as they need my assistance.

I know that besides the professional solution, human relationships are very important. Therefore, I strive for a harmonic co-operation with my clients and their employees.


3. Objectivity, Neutrality and Self Responsibility

I shall perform consulting services strictly on my own responsibility free from influence of anyone else. My recommendations shall be based strictly on my own impartial, independent professional judgement and I will express unpleasant facts openly too.

I commit myself to be neutral with respect to suppliers of equipment, auxiliary means, and services, which are needed for the realization of my proposals.


4. Observance of Confidentiality

I will treat all internal client information gathered during an assignment as strictly confidential. Especially, I shall neither directly nor indirectly disclose to a third party such information without the prior consent of the client.

I do not grant any general competition exclusion. However, specific competition exclusion may be agreed upon in certain cases.

I feel authorized to publish customer lists. However, I will mention clients as reference only, if authorized by them.


5. Omission of Labor Piracy

I shall refrain from inviting an employee of a client to consider alternative employment.


6. Fair Pricing

I will calculate my remuneration in due proportion to type, complexity and degree of difficulty, which are agreed upon with the client before starting the assignment.

I shall specify my quotations in such a way, that my clients will know which additional costs they will have to bear besides my fee.


7. Fair Advertising and Acquisition

I commit myself to reliable behavior in advertising and acquisition. I shall present my qualifications only with regard to skills and experience.


8. Permanent continued Education

I shall undertake every effort to continuously improve my technical and methods knowledge as well as my professional skills. I will fully employ all new knowledge and skills for my clients benefits without any restrictions.


9. Contradictory Assignments

I shall not accept assignments, which do not allow to uphold my code of professional conduct and minimum standards of professional ethics.
